We warmly welcome interest in places at our school. As a Jewish faith school with a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 90 for each year group, we provide education for students aged 11 to 16. Manchester City Council is the admissions authority for our school, and we work closely with the council to ensure a clear, fair and supportive admissions process for all families.

Year 7 Entry – September 2026

To apply for a Year 7 place starting in September 2026, parents and carers must complete two applications:

1. Apply through Manchester City Council

All Year 7 applications must be submitted via the Manchester City Council online admissions portal. This is the statutory application that determines whether a child is offered a place.
Manchester’s admissions process for 2026 includes the following key dates:

  • Application period opens: 1 July 2025

  • Application deadline: Friday 31 October 2025

  • National Offer Day: Monday 2 March 2026

For full details and guidance on the council’s admissions timetable, please visit the Manchester City Council admissions page: https://www.manchester.gov.uk/admissions

2. Complete our school admissions form

In addition to the council application, all families seeking a place at our school must complete our own admissions form. This enables us to gather extra information that is not included on the council form and helps us plan appropriately to support your child.

We offer both an online form and a paper version. Please ensure this is submitted alongside your council application.

Admissions Criteria & Oversubscription

Our admissions arrangements are outlined in the Admissions Policy, which can be downloaded below. If the number of applications exceeds the number of available places (90), places will be allocated according to the criteria in the policy.

You can view and download our full Admissions Policy here.

Waiting Lists

If we are unable to offer your child a place at the initial allocation, you may request that your child’s name be added to our waiting list. Waiting lists are ranked according to the oversubscription criteria in our admissions policy and are maintained until the end of the academic year.

Please note that waiting list decisions and allocations are managed in accordance with the policy, and all decisions are made in line with the Headteacher’s discretion.

In-Year Admissions

Applications for places outside the normal Year 7 admissions round are known as in-year admissions.

Parents and carers should contact us directly for in-year applications:
